"My Modern Day Hero"

          Hero? All we know about heroes are those who have powers, but that power is just a fantasy, because only God has that mighty power. As we all know, there are many heroes who have powers, but they are only seen in movies, like superman, batman, spider man and others. Those kind of heroes are heroes only in television movies, because they are not real, they only entertain people. If there are heroes in movies, in our real life, everyone of us can also have our true own hero. These heroes may be our family, special friend, teacher and others that are near to us, or even people that we don't know, especially if those people inspire us in doing something good.

          Like other people, I have also my own hero. Aside from God, which I consider as the greatest hero of all, I am also considering my parents as my hero, even though they don't have powers, because when the day that I was born, the first thing that I've seen was a bright and sunshine day. Even though I was still young and innocent child, I was very thankful that I was given life by my parents, especially to my mother because she did everything at her best and all her efforts in order for me to come out from her lap. From that day on, I knew that they care for me and they do love me. They are also proud of me because I came to their lives. They are my heroes because whatever mistake I made from the day I began to read, speak and write, until now, they are doing nothing but to make that mistake be right. My parents are my guide in doing good things. Aside from my special friend, they are also my inspiration in giving more efforts in my studies, so that I can be whatever I may be in the future, so that whatever ambition I have today, it will be granted with the help of my inspirations in life.

          As we all know, our family, especially our parents are our first priority because they give life to us, they give meaning to our lives. They are the one who support us whatever we do, because they care for us. They are doing all their best in order for us to study in a school, but when the day comes that they become old and they feel weak, we don't have to pay for the good that they have given to us by giving them back money, but to show to them that how much we also care for them. For that time, we should be also a hero for them, even though we don't have also any magical powers, to make them them strong in an instant, but to make them happy with our own simple dedication for them.

"State of the Nation Address (SONA) of P-Noy"

            SONA or the State of the Nation Address of a President is always been doing every year. It will always be delivered by the ruler of one country which is the President. In this State of the Nation Address, the President, itself, delivers his or her speech to make promises in front of his or her countrymen, in order to make country improved and developed by his or her works.
          State of the Nation Address of President Benigno Simeon Cojuanco Aquino III was held at four o'clock on the 25th day of July. His State of the Nation Address was full of speeches containing all of his works and promises for the sake of his people or his countrymen which is ruling right now. When he talked about his SONA, he did not need to look at what he want to say, or in other words, his speech was not scripted. As we all know, there are many problems that our country is facing or encountering, at this moment, but we can lessen those problems with the help of our President. There are many people who are facing poverty, and who are hungry. Because of this poverty, there are people dying, and some children becoming beggars on the streets. These examples of problems are part of the trials of our lives, especially for our President, as the ruler or the model of our country.
         The purpose why all Presidents deliver their State of the Nation Address , is that, so that we will not be regretting for voting them as our President, So that we know what will he or she be doing and so that if those promises of these presidents will be granted. The problems that our president facing or encountering right now, are the biggest trials that they may face as the highest position of their country. If they deserve as the president, as the ruler, model of a country, they should try their very best to make country be improved and developed by their own works. They should also make their duties and responsibilities for their beloved country, for the sake of their countrymen.
